Norbit Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how users of the Norbit app can request account deletion, what data is deleted, what data may be retained, and the retention periods that may still apply after a deletion request is completed.

How to Request Deletion

Users can request deletion of their Norbit account directly in the app by following these steps:

Open the Norbit app.

Go to Settings.

Tap Security.

Tap Delete Account.

Request the one-time verification code sent to your email.

Enter the code and confirm account deletion.

If you cannot access the app, contact media@norbit.digital with the subject line Account Deletion Request.

Data Deleted

Account profile information
Username and account identity data
Email-linked user account record
Profile details used in the app
Listings created by the user
User-submitted profile or account information stored for app use
Authentication and session data associated with the account

Data That May Be Retained

Transaction or order records
Dispute-related records
Fraud-prevention and security logs
Records retained to comply with legal or regulatory obligations

Retention Period

Account data scheduled for deletion through the Norbit deletion flow is deleted immediately once the request is completed, except where retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-handling reasons.

Account profile and app data

Deleted immediately after the account deletion request is completed.

Transaction and compliance records

May be retained only where required for compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other lawful obligations.

Legally required records

If retention is required by applicable law, the relevant records are retained only for the legally required period.

Any data retained for legal or security reasons is kept only as long as necessary and is then permanently deleted or anonymized.
